So when I was young i decided to dress a certain way because I saw
how someone dressing that way. Well with that I was called a copycat.
Throughout my elementary school years the word copycat embedded in my mind. As
I got older I realized everyone copies everyone in fashion. So I feel the term
"copycat" is overly misused. I would like to consider it as
"inspired."
Last class I notice my teacher had her hair in a bun so today I
decided to do the same. I also saw a girl walking around with a blazer and a
scarf and she also inspired me to wear the same outfit for today.
I think if you imitate someone's style it's a form of flattery.
And hey everyone "copies" someone now a days anyways.
Today’s blog we’ll discuss where you can find some of your
favorite clothes that the celebrities wear for less.
The first outfit is: The Navy and Orange Dress. One from the
Victoria Beckham collection and the other was from designed by Rare.
On the left, Victoria Beckham’s spring 2012 collection
features a navy and orange pencil dress that costs about $2,295. This item sold
out as soon as it went on sale.
On the right, a navy and orange pencil dress designed by
Rare which is available at Top Shop. This dress is much cheaper than the
Victoria Beckham’s dress which cost about $60.56, which you can probably still
purchase this at the Top Shop website.

The Second Outfit is Diva Catwalk Mayfair dress and the
Victoria Beckham color block dress
Victoria Beckham is known for her amazing collection and
although her dress collection is the price of a new car and is always sold out
makes us want the dress even more.
There are plenty of brands out there who are inspired by
Victoria Beckham’s collection and one of those brands is the Diva Catwalk.
Their Mayfair dress is different from Victoria Beckham’s color block pencil
dress in a couple of ways; however none of them diminish from the overall look,
which is very alike.
The Victoria Beckham color block dress cost about $2295
while the Diva Catwalk Mayfair dress cost about $122.26.
Which do you prefer?
Next we’ll be talking about shoes.
Charlotte Russe has a lot of styles that mimics brand shoes such as Christian Louboutin, Valentino, Pierre Hardy, and Mui Mui just to name a few.
Charlotte Russe has a lot of styles that mimics brand shoes such as Christian Louboutin, Valentino, Pierre Hardy, and Mui Mui just to name a few.
One thing about Charlotte Russe is that it’s cheap clothing and for the shoes they are always buy one get the second pair for $10. So why not save on a couple of dollars and purchase the cheaper one?
For me I can probably go for the cheaper dress depending
on what type of dress it is but with shoes. I definitely cannot do it. Since I
consider myself a shoe-whore I need to have the brand named shoes. For me I can
tell the difference from an imitation style.
Christian Louboutin Vs Charlotte Russe
Valentino Vs Charlotte Russe
Miu Miu Vs Charlotte Russe
Pierre Hardy Vs Charlotte Russe
These are just a few of the shoes that were found at
Charlotte Russe. However, since these shoes are not exactly replicas, because it
is obvious which design is the designer shoe and which is the copy. Charlotte
Russe can’t get sued because they are not necessarily exact replicas.
Which one do you prefer though?
Do you think Charlotte Russe went too far with imitating
the brand-named shoes?
